Remote Play is a feature that allows the PlayStation 4 to transmit its audio and video output to the PlayStation Vita. The predecessor to the Vita, the PlayStation Portable, also had remote play connectivity with the PlayStation 3, though the feature was rarely used.

The vast majority of PlayStation 4 games can be remotely played on the PlayStation Vita. The exceptions are games that utilize equipment that cannot be replicated on the Vita, such as the PlayStation Move.
